Marketing is the process of creating, distributing, promoting and pricing goods, services, and ideas to facilitate satisfying exchange relationships with customers in a dynamic environment.[1] Marketing is at the core of successful business development. It helps strategic management at a philosophical, conceptual and methodological level.[2]
A practical marketing plan should effectively persuade the consumer of commodity’s value (defining the business)[3]. In this sense, most moral principles, social and spiritual values presented in the Bible are self-driven and marketable. Long-term growth, profitability and stability of an organization can be attained by application of Biblical principles.[4]
As a businessman, I used various marketing methods such as newspaper ads, screenings, internet, radio commercials and networking. However after ten years of practice I concluded that patient education was the most effective marketing strategy for my medical practice.[5]
